Mid-January Check-In!

It’s safe to say, 2025 has already been a doozy. How are we holding up besties? This month has been an emotional rollercoaster. My heart continues to ache for those who have lost their homes, businesses, and belongings to the LA Fires. I can’t begin to imagine walking away from your home/apartment one day and never being able to return to it again. Just writing that makes my stomach churn.

Thankfully, in parallel, I’m in awe at the number of people, organizations, and brands who snapped into immediate action in the blink of an eye. I’m continuing to keep an eye out for new places to donate (goods and monetarily) based on the city’s constantly changing needs, and am in the works planning an opportunity for my San Francisco-based baddies to get involved which is coming very very soon.

Last weekend was MOVE IN DAY at our Lake Tahoe ski lease! This is the third year Joe and I have done some form of longer-term Tahoe rental and it’s something that makes both of us so SO happy.
